Linux System Administrator

Your Story

You will work closely with R&D to provide tactical fast solutions as top priority responsibility (Redis issues, server maintenance, and new requirements). As a second-level priority, you will be a focal point for everything related to dev operations: on-prem and cloud servers management, access rights management for users and servers, staging/production environments CI/CD, servers monitoring, and different DevOps side solutions.

 

Long story short, you will:

● R&D team support

● Operate and manage our large-scale infrastructure (on-prem servers, AWS servers)

● Monitor and support the 24/7 operation, build dashboards and reporting metrics

● Continually perform analysis and capacity planning for our clusters

● Troubleshoot, triage staging, and address production issues

● Be ready to migrate to the cloud

● Desire to learn new things

● Build automation and internal tools


It would be awesome if you have:

● 3+ years of experience in working as Unix Linux System Administrator.

● Hands-on experience in continuous integration and building tools along with version control systems such as Git.

● Hands-on experience in monitoring tools and alerting.

● Solid understanding of the CI/CD process. 

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a great team player.

 

Advantages:

● hands-on experience in large-scale distributed systems in critical infrastructure.

● Working knowledge of SQL DB clusters, No-SQL, and Redis cache.

● Good AWS knowledge.

● Experience in setting up and managing monitoring tools.

● Basic knowledge of Docker-based micro services-oriented systems.

● Experienced in a Big Data environment and tools.
