This position focuses mainly on evangalizing EX.CO’s video player solution, which offers a full video stack to publishers – from content generation to ad serving and monetization. EX.CO powers online video for the largest publishers in the world, including Hearst, Time, NASDAQ, Vice, Refinery29 and CBSi.

  •  Prospect new publishers, media groups, and sites by building a pipeline of leads, and close them.
  • Host online, phone and in-person pitches and presentations.
  • Maintaining the technical expertise and product knowledge necessary to generate sales.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape and market trends whilst providing product feedback.
  • Work in collaboration with Product, Account Management and Ad-Operations groups to develop new advertising formats and introduce these to the publishing market.
  • Contribute to special projects and company strategic initiatives.
  • Achieve sales quotas and ambitious quarterly targets within a defined territory/vertical/segment.
  • Travel up to 20% to multiple conferences in the US including LA, New York, Miami, Nashville and Vail. 

Your Story:

  • You’re hungry, driven, and an A player. 
  • 1-4 years of experience in the ad-tech industry preferably in publisher sales. Experience with video advertising technology is a big plus.
  • Understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, publisher landscape and the online advertising industry.
  • Previous experience successfully signing deals, driving revenue through prospecting, pitching, negotiating and renewing business with low, mid-tier & premium digital publishers.
  • Experience pitching to key publisher stakeholders from editorial and commercial teams
  • Self-disciplined ​with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and familiarity with media buying jargon.
  • Entrepreneurial, goal and target-oriented executor that desires to be a key contributor and strong team player.  

The pay range for this position in New York is $60,000 – $85,000
