DevOps Engineer (Junior / Early Career)

Tel Aviv, Israel

Your Story:

You're at the start of your DevOps career and looking for a place to grow with us. You won't be expected to know everything on day one, but you are genuinely curious, hungry to learn, and comfortable getting your hands on a broad AWS-based stack. You'll work alongside experienced engineers on real production infrastructure that powers our video and ad tech platform, with plenty of opportunity to own projects end to end.

Who we are:

EX.CO is the video technology fueling growth for media leaders worldwide. Since we launched, our mission has been to shape the future of media technology, powering publishers' business success in a rapidly changing reality.

Today, we partner with leading media companies including USA Today, Hearst Newspapers, Motorsport Network, The Arena Group (Parade, The Street), and Ziff Davis (Mashable) to maximize revenue across every screen: web, mobile apps, CTV, and DOOH. Our technology combines an online video platform with a machine learning-based yield engine, giving media owners the control, scale, and transparency they need to thrive.

What drives us is simple: we're stronger together, always evolving, and radically transparent. Collaboration fuels our best work, innovation keeps us ahead, and honesty builds lasting trust with our colleagues, partners, and customers. We are proudly backed by The Walt Disney Company, Saban Ventures, Viola Group, 83North, and others.

Now we're growing our team, and that's where you come in. We're building a place where talented people make an impact, ideas spark change, and everyone has a seat at the table.

What We're Looking For:

Must have:

  • Basic understanding of Linux, networking, and how web services work
  • Some exposure to at least one cloud provider (AWS preferred, but GCP is fine)
  • Familiarity with Git and basics in programming (Python, Go etc)
  • Genuine curiosity: you read documentation, break things in home labs, and want to understand why something works
  • Good communication skills

Familiarity with (any of these is a plus):

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (even from personal projects, bootcamps, or courses)
  • Exposure to Terraform or another IaC tool
  • Experience with any CI/CD system (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
  • Familiarity with Docker

What matters most:

  • You're hungry to learn: you'd rather struggle through something new than stay in your comfort zone
  • You take ownership: when you pick up a task, you see it through
  • You care about doing things properly, not just quickly

What You'll Get:

  • Mentorship from experienced DevOps engineers on a stack that touches most of what modern infrastructure looks like today
  • Exposure to real problems at real scale, not toy examples
  • Room to own projects and make an impact quickly
  • A team that values learning and doesn't expect you to have all the answers
